About Us

Welcome to Grace Baptist Church’s website. We’re glad that you “stopped” by. Our church was started July 1, 1987, in the downtown Troy Boys’ Club in Troy, New York. In November of 1988, our church moved into our former location at 736 Third Avenue in the Lansingburgh section of North Troy. Being only 10 miles north of Albany, we are easily accessible from throughout the Capital District, including Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady Counties. We are now located at 612 4th Avenue Troy, NY!

We have a wonderful group of people who through the years have come to know Jesus Christ as their Saviour and have stayed to form the family of Grace Baptist Church. The Lord has been so good to us to have given us folks through the years who’ve been married here, brought up their children here, and have stayed faithful until the Lord called them home to Heaven.

We would like to invite you to come by and visit our church family. I believe you’ll find a friendly group of believers. We have a clean nursery and Sunday School for all ages. Transportation is available in the Troy area. You will feel welcomed by blue collar workers, professionals, college students, stay-at-home moms, teenagers, singles, couples, and families of all ages, backgrounds, and nationalities.

You can choose from our many and varied activities to keep you and your family busy; whether it be our church dinners, street hockey/basketball, fishing, bowling, couples night out, Christmas caroling, singles night out, summer camp, youth rallies, teen conventions, church meetings and revivals, etc.

With so many different churches and denominations, it is sometimes difficult to decide which church or congregation to attend or join. The only way to find out for sure is to come at least once. If you love God, I believe you will enjoy it here. Should you ever need help for anything or have a prayer request, please do not hesitate to contact us and let us know how we can help. We are here as your servants in Christ. May God richly bless you as you seek to serve Him.
